Project Location: Private Residence, Salt Lake City, UT

Design Principle(s): Alexander Beckman

A proposal for an addition to a 1914 home in Salt Lake City’s Liberty Wells neighborhood. The clients requested the addition of a bedroom, bathroom, office suite to help suit their new lifestyle and expanding family. The design deliberately draws formal ties from the existing building, while going out of its way to separate it’s material and scale, delineating the new space and making room for the client’s future plans for remodeling the existing home.
